Founded in 1983 by two bakers, the company has held its bakery products to high quality standards from the start. The bakery and café in Ruskko bake bread rolls fresh every morning. Consumers can buy pastries, buns and doughnuts, while professional kitchens are offered frozen products that only need thawing. Well-known items include korvapuusti (cinnamon buns), kristallipulla and munkkirinkila, plus seasonal specialities such as Runeberg tarts and Shrove Tuesday buns. The company pioneered in-store baking points in supermarkets and Finland's first ready-to-thaw frozen bakery products.
The café serves a weekday lunch with two options and coffee, and its menu changes with the season. The products are sold through all major Finnish retail chains and can be ordered for pickup at the bakery café. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
