Family day care takes place in the childminder's own home in a group of up to four children. Each child has one familiar carer. Days include outdoor activity, exercise in nature and home-cooked meals. Childminders are trained, have pedagogical skills and operate under municipal supervision.
Families can visit the home before taking a place. A gradual start can include a parent staying during the first days. Applications are submitted through an online form.
