The outpatient service for adults with substance dependence provides opioid substitution treatment, addiction physician appointments, laboratory tests, social guidance and assessment of care needs. Care involves healthcare and social services professionals and a physician. Care plans are updated every six months and reviewed in monthly meetings.
Patients can be referred for detoxification, rehabilitation or specialist care. Substitution treatment assessment and initiation take place at the Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county's Happi unit. Residents of other counties can access care through their own county. Community activities include groups and monthly meetings. The entrance and toilet are accessible.
