The art psychotherapy practice provides individual and group sessions for all ages. The therapist has over 30 years of healthcare and rehabilitation experience. Sessions last from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, usually 1–3 times a week, with a 3–4 session assessment before longer therapy.
Funding is mainly through Kela rehabilitation psychotherapy or demanding medical rehabilitation, sometimes insurers. Remote sessions use Minduu. Artwork is stored securely and not shown without consent. The ground-floor premises have steps or a ramp at the entrance and a step-free interior; assistance dogs are welcome. Service is available in Finnish and English. Booking is recommended, and a toilet is provided.
You can share your art psychotherapy service experience on Suomi Guide for others considering the practice.
