The trade union office serves employees in municipalities, wellbeing services counties, central government, private businesses, NGOs and parishes. The union negotiates collective agreements and provides employment advice, legal services and legal aid for workplace problems. Shop stewards represent members at work.
Joining is through an online form, which assigns members to a local or regional association. Training covers professional development, workplace wellbeing and union roles. The office is on the fifth floor. The website is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
