Operating since 1948, the Scout troop emphasises independence, responsibility and learning by doing. Activities welcome children and adults, with volunteer roles also available for adults.
Prospective members can attend meetings before joining and apply through the Scouts' online service. A Discord server has separate areas for age groups and leaders. The troop publishes a twice-yearly magazine with news, stories and tasks.
