Founded in 1947, the dog club offers agility, obedience, rally obedience, dog dancing and hoopers. Its own indoor hall, completed in 2015, serves beginners through to national-level competitors. Membership is open to dog owners of different abilities and goals.
Weekly training groups recruit in autumn, with supplementary intake in spring. Short courses run throughout the year for members; guest trainers' specialist courses may admit non-members if places remain. The club also organises competitions. Accessible entrance and parking facilities are available.
