Designed by Elsi Borg, the Lutheran church was completed in 1953. Tove Jansson's altarpiece from the same year depicts the parable of the Ten Virgins. T. J. Korpi carved figures of Paul, the evangelists and Moses. Chandeliers made for Lumivaara church were installed here in 1978. Renovation took place in 1993–1994, and the mechanical-action organ with 19 stops was dedicated in 1994.
Alongside services, the church hosts religious events. Arrange weddings, baptisms and funerals with the parish office, and concerts or spiritual events with the vicar. Other parish rooms can be hired. Access is step-free, with a hearing loop, accessible toilet and parking.
