The public swimming ponds in the Luonto-Parra area were built for recreation and water storage. In winter, some water is used for snowmaking on the ski slopes. Winter swimming also takes place here.
Swimmers have two changing cabins, and a wood-heated beach sauna can be hired. A municipally maintained barbecue shelter and a gazebo stand beside the ponds. A public toilet is in the main building on the pond side. The municipality maintains the swimming site.
