Founded in 1966, the art society brings together amateurs and professionals and organises exhibitions and courses. Its Galleria Taidekamari occupies a protected log house in the Åström manor courtyard within a 19th-century wooden-house area.
Exhibitions change monthly, and non-members can book the space. Two member group exhibitions are held each year. The art shop sells members' work and products.
