Founded in 1893, the youth society runs a riverside village hall through volunteer work. Facilities include a hall of about 185 m² with a 60 m² stage, a café area, large kitchen, foyer with coat racks and a basement craft room. It aims to be a meeting place for villagers.
The hall can be hired for weddings, dances and celebrations, with tables, chairs and tableware for about 150 people. An 8 by 4 metre party tent can be hired with the hall or for a home garden. Volunteers and people able to lead clubs or courses are welcome. The society sells its 130-year history book. A village shop and sports field are nearby. The entrance and car park are accessible.
