This professional dance theatre was founded in 1989 by Tiina Lindfors, Eeva Soini and Lassi Sairela. Its programme is known for being bold and multidisciplinary, mixing dance with other performing arts. The main repertoire is performed at its own intimate venue in the city centre, and commissioned productions tour across Finland and international stages.
Commissioned short performances of about 15 minutes can be ordered for events. The theatre works with schools, educational institutions, care homes and service housing. Family-friendly productions include a Christmas version of Pinocchio, recommended from age 4. The theatre is on the second floor with no lift, so the entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Tickets are sold at the box office and through lippu.fi.
