Founded in 1999 as a university space research laboratory spin-off, the company designs and builds instruments for research and commercial space missions. Main products include space weather monitors and miniature microscopes for life sciences in space. Instruments have been supplied to ESA missions including BepiColombo, Solar Orbiter and ALTIUS.
The company also develops radiation monitoring technology for human spaceflight in cooperation with DLR. Its facilities include precision optics and machining workshops, materials analysis laboratories and subsystem integration areas.
