Founded in 1980, this folk high school focuses on visual culture and communication. Media and art studies are open to anyone interested, and a vocational qualification in media and visual expression is also offered. Combined studies cover graphic design, journalism and photography.
Finnish language and culture courses for immigrants last four to nine months. The school is on Kakskerta island, with weekday lunches for students and staff at the on-site Wanhan Talli restaurant. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
