This individual psychotherapy practice is run by psychotherapist Tarja Suominen. Her work combines solution-focused and cognitive approaches with psychophysical methods. Cognitive therapy identifies and examines rigid thought distortions, while solution-focused therapy emphasises existing strengths and resources and a future orientation. Individuals, couples and families are all welcome.
Therapy can be short-term, around 5 to 10 sessions, or longer-term, from one to three years. The practice has a neurosonic chair for sleep difficulties and relaxation. The psychotherapy is approved by Valvira and accepted by Kela, and according to the website trauma therapy, supervision (työnohjaus) and mindfulness skills are also offered. An accessible toilet is available.
