Earthworks cover excavation, foundation drainage, stormwater systems, foundation insulation and cable and pipe trenches. Retaining walls can be curved or straight; tall walls are reinforced and cast in concrete. Steps can be built from wall blocks, paving stones or pressure-treated timber.
