This manor on Kakskerta island has roots going back to the 1500s. Professor Gabriel von Bonsdorff rebuilt it in neoclassical style from 1793, and it is now owned by the Finnish Cultural Heritage Foundation. It hosts chamber and symphonic music, art, guided historical tours and touring theatre. It was once home to a historic fruit garden, one of Finland's oldest English-style parks, and has served as a filming location for the TV series Hovimäki and the film Käsky.
Rooms and grounds can be rented for private events and celebrations, accommodation is available, and the art exhibition space can be rented for exhibitions. The Pehtoorinsiipi café serves freshly baked pastries and drinks plus the manor's own signature products. You can arrive by car, boat or bus. The toilet is wheelchair accessible, but the entrance is not, and there is no hearing loop.
