The clerical employees' sickness fund is a non-profit insurance fund for members. Membership requires at least six months of employment, over 60 working hours per month and salary paid from Finland. Reimbursements cover healthcare, medicines, doctor visits and physiotherapy, with dental care and spectacles included after one year of membership.
Most examinations and treatments require a doctor's referral valid for one year. Claims must be submitted within six months by post or through the IRIS online service. English guidance is an unofficial translation; Finnish rules govern interpretation.
