Founded in 1981, this is the industry association of debt collection agencies in Finland. Its aim is to promote modern and responsible debt collection that takes into account both creditors' interests and their customers' expectations. It takes part in discussion on debt collection with various stakeholders, monitors legislation affecting the sector and presents the industry's views when needed.
The association also makes proposals to the authorities that supervise debt collection. It has no paid staff, and board members carry out the tasks alongside their own work. All member companies have committed to its operating principles. The website has pages for the board, the members and a blog.
