Established in spring 2016, the upholstery workshop repairs and reupholsters furniture to customer requirements. Older pieces are restored with original materials such as springs, sea grass, horsehair, saddle straps and hemp; modern furniture uses suitable contemporary materials. Work covers household furniture, lobbies, meeting rooms, offices and restaurants, plus boat and caravan cushions.
Curtains, decorative cushions and other sewing work can be commissioned. Public-space fabrics are flame-retardant, durable and easy to clean. On-site assessments can be arranged for public-space quotes. Workshop visits are by prior appointment only. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
