The chapel stands in Paijala cemetery and is run by the Evangelical Lutheran parish, which serves Etelä-Tuusula, Jokela and Kellokoski. The parish organises activities for children, school-age children, young people, young adults, adults and seniors. Confirmation camp is offered, along with baptisms, confirmation parties, weddings, home blessings and funerals.
Diaconal work includes a meal service, food aid, senior care, grief groups and conversation support. There is also a multicultural programme, a puppet theatre called Nukketeatteri Pelikaani, choirs and concerts, and livestreams of services. The church office handles church membership, baptism, marriage and room bookings, and the cemetery office handles burial and memorial matters. Volunteering is possible through the parish. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
