Part of Lakeuden EKO's waste network, the station accepts hazardous household waste, electrical appliances, batteries, lamps, oily waste and paints subject to quantity limits. Accepted materials also include packaging, wood, garden waste, clean soil, construction waste and furniture.
The service is for residents of the Lakeuden EKO area. Staff may check a visitor's place of residence. The area includes Liminka, Muhos and Utajärvi as well as the station's own municipality.
