The church hosts services of an Evangelical Lutheran parish belonging to the Oulu diocese and Liminka deanery. The Temmes chapel parish joined it in 2001.
Sunday services can be heard through a live radio broadcast. The parish organises music, children's and youth activities and rents premises to outside users. Wheelchair users can access the church and toilet, with accessible parking provided.
