The ice hall is owned by local individuals and businesses. It was built largely by volunteer work in 1999 and opened in 2000. The full-size rink is well lit, and ice times can be rented for season practice, tournaments and events. Ice hockey, an amateur league and public skating are held here.
There are six spacious changing rooms with washing facilities. The cafeteria seats about 80, and the hall holds up to 380 spectators. A meeting room sits next to the cafeteria. Equipment drying rooms, a skate sharpening room, a referee room, an office and internet access are also on site. Meals and accommodation for tournaments and training events can be arranged with local businesses. There is ample parking, and the car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
