This municipal library belongs to the Lapland library network. It has an extensive Sami-language collection, with reservations also available from Rovaniemi City Library and the Finnish Sami special library. Sports equipment, including snowshoes and skates, can be borrowed too.
The reading room has newspapers and magazines that can also be borrowed. There are two public computers and printing, scanning and copying facilities. Associations and individuals can book the adjoining exhibition space. Self-service access is available daily, and returns can be left in the leisure centre foyer when the library is closed. Library credentials provide access to e-books, audiobooks, newspapers, films, music and online courses. Wheelchair users can access the library and use the parking area.
