According to its website, this is the largest car museum in Finland, with three exhibition halls. The collection covers cars, motorcycles, motorsport and one aircraft. The first Finnish-made car, the Korvensuu from 1913, has a place of honour, and there are dedicated sections for Saab and other Finnish car brands and for concept cars by Finnish designers from the 1980s to today. The exhibition documents the development of the domestic car industry that began here in 1969.
The art gallery sells works by Finnish artists, and the museum shop stocks mostly Finnish-made products and books on Finnish motoring history. An experimental restoration workshop is connected to the museum. Guided tours, refreshments and other extra services are available by advance booking only, and group visits are arranged by agreement. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
