This daycare has 79 places and is part of Sateenkaari Koto. The city's largest playground, a running track and a sports field are close by. The activities emphasise sports, nature education and music education, and the surrounding forest is used every day. At the edge of the forest stands a wind-sheltered hut that stays warm in winter, and the grounds include a campfire site, a sledding hill and a separate play field.
Small-group activities are led by a dedicated adult. Pre-primary education is provided as a purchased service for the local city council. As in all Sateenkaari Koto daycares, the work follows the principles of the Green Flag programme. The groups are named by age or theme, such as Popparit, Tanhutaaperot, Musatoukat, Tenavatähdet, Svengijengi and Rytmiryhmä.
