This 5.3 km hiking route explores cultural sites along the Oulujoki river within Rokua Geopark. It starts at Ahmala, crosses the Jylhämä power plant dam and follows the lower canal to a campfire site. It includes a 1.9 km side path and a 150-metre spur.
Only the first section is suitable for visitors with limited mobility, as later parts have stairs. The route is named after Viktor Åkerblom (1844–1895), the last manager of Myllyranta ironworks. He lived in Paaso house, later the site of a tourist hotel.
