Run by Åbo Akademi since 1974, the Swedish-language training school provides grades 1 to 9 and upper secondary education. English-track classes receive part of their basic education in English. Upper secondary options include visual arts, music and an English-language IB Diploma Programme.
Class, special and subject teacher students undertake supervised teaching practice. The school also collaborates with the university on research and development. Rooms are available for rent in both school sections. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
