Yrkesakademin i Österbotten offers a 180-credit vocational qualification in ICT, with software development and IT support tracks. Topics include technical support, maintenance, programming, cloud services, cybersecurity and technical sales. Beginners, career changers and experienced applicants can apply.
Studies are in Swedish, with a personal competence development plan and recognition of prior learning. The workshop provides real customer situations. Daytime study usually follows a blended format, and apprenticeships are possible. Applicants whose first language is not Swedish take a language test. The qualification gives eligibility to apply to higher education.
