The open-air museum presents and brings to life Finland-Swedish folk culture. The area also hosts a folk costume club and Lucia celebrations.
In summer the museum is open from late June to early August, Wednesday to Sunday. In winter the museum area is open, but the museum building is closed. Guided tours are given in Swedish, Finnish and English, and groups can enjoy a varied year-round programme, including guided tours. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
