Founded in 1972, this association supports Swedish-speaking people with visual impairment from Oravais to Kristinestad. It is an independent district association under Synförbundet. Activities include peer support, meetings, trips and theatre visits with audio description.
Member meetings are held at the Lyktan activity centre. Ordinary membership is for people with visual impairment, while supporting membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over. The association works with its umbrella organisation on courses, local advocacy and a talking newspaper service.
