The vocational school offers vocational basic qualifications and further occupational qualifications. Applications are open all year for programmes in business, hospitality and catering, social and health care, and property management. Short card courses include hot work, occupational safety, food hygiene and alcohol service certificates, and study paths are flexible, from single units to a full qualification.
Students provide customer services: hairdressing and beauty treatments, car servicing, metal subcontracting, and construction, painting and wallpapering. The student-run VAAO Cafe serves coffee, tea, soft drinks and light snacks. Prospective students can explore the fields and the campus at the VAAOpäivät open days. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
