This two-hectare fenced dog forest can be booked for private use. The mixed coniferous forest has rocks, stumps and varied terrain that suit dog agility and motor skills. The fence is 2 metres high, with mesh fine enough to stop small dogs escaping. The paths are lit for use after dark and kept clear of snow in winter. There is a water point for dogs from spring to autumn, and cool boxes with water in winter.
Book through the online calendar for slots from 30 minutes up to four hours, with half-day and full-day options. The booking includes a gate code valid for the whole visit, and only the person booking decides who is present. Bookings over two hours include the grill hut with grilling equipment and firewood, which holds 10 to 12 people. A lean-to shelter allows overnight stays for up to four people. It suits breeder meetups, breed club gatherings and group events. Parking is for about 15 cars, the wide path suits pushchairs, and the car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible. Gift cards are available for all services, and sports vouchers are accepted as payment.
