This vocational school trains young people, adults and organisations and offers vocational qualifications in several fields. Students carry out real customer work, such as car repair and bakery and confectionery products, and the school runs a café-shop and a training restaurant. It is an IB World School, and students can complete a vocational qualification and the matriculation exam at the same time. Cooperation with universities of applied sciences lets students take AMK courses while still studying here.
At the start of studies, a personal study plan (HOKS) is drawn up with a responsible teacher, and every qualification includes workplace learning. Studies can be partly completed as flexible online courses, mainly in the daytime with some evening studies in certain fields. For students of compulsory-education age, tuition and study materials are free, and meals are free for those in vocational basic degrees. Study certificates and transcripts can be ordered through the electronic study office. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
