The Swedish-language comprehensive school teaches grades 7–9 in a historic church village setting. Operating since 1963, it emphasises environmental awareness and democratic pupil participation. Options include flexible basic education, music classes, the Urhea sports programme, Swedish as a second language and mother-tongue teaching.
The three-storey building has a lift, wheelchair lift and accessible toilets. The entrance, car park and some seating are wheelchair accessible. There are also some thresholds and ramps in the building.
