An early 19th-century granary houses displays of local everyday life, farming and rural trades. Most objects come from farms in the surrounding area. Downstairs are a furnished farmhouse room, kitchen chamber and school corner; upstairs are tools associated with rural occupations and traditional crafts.
The building stands in a historic church village beside a medieval church and churchyard. Guided tours can be booked in advance. Kahvitupa Laurentius café is nearby.
