Founded at an elementary school in 1929, this general sports club began with athletics and skiing. Its activities now include athletics, volleyball, gymnastics, children's exercise, fitness and veterans' activities. A shared team uniform based on an R emblem was adopted in 1938.
Weekly activities bring together nearly a thousand children, young people and adults. Groups cater to different ages, while the city allocates sports venue time among organisations and provides financial support for the club's work.
