Founded in 1931, this national governing body develops and administers pesäpallo, Finnish baseball, at recreational and competitive levels. Responsibilities include rules, league systems, competition regulations and disciplinary procedures, alongside the Superpesis and Ykköspesis leagues and regional activities.
Children and young people can take part in camps, baseball schools and exercise sessions. Information and equipment support school PE teaching, and a newsletter is published for club officials.
