This bed and breakfast is in a private house built for the purpose in 2016 and opened to guests in February 2017. It is furnished in a classical style with mostly antique or vintage furniture, while the beds and mattresses are new. Heating comes from geothermal and solar energy, and hot water is solar-heated. Thick walls and air-tight windows save energy. Waste is recycled, detergents are biodegradable or eco-labelled, and the owners donate yearly to the Luonnonperintösäätiö or John Nurminen Foundation.
Guests have a sauna, breakfast and an evening meal, in quiet hotel-style rooms. Free Wi-Fi and parking are included, pets are welcome and the house is non-smoking. It stands in a residential area with good transport links, but it is not wheelchair accessible.
