Founded in 2001, the association offers confidential peer support for people recovering from substance problems and their relatives. Trained volunteers help with everyday challenges and finding suitable services. Support persons typically have personal recovery experience as former substance users or relatives.
Support starts with an introductory conversation and continues by phone, online or in person. Clients must already be substance-free and committed to remaining so. Volunteers receive basic and advanced courses of about 20 hours each, ongoing supervision and peer support. The premises have a wheelchair-accessible entrance.
