The wooden church was built in 1802 and restored in 1993–1994. The parish is probably the oldest in Pirkanmaa, with roots in the late 1100s, and its first recorded parish priest dates from 1346. The medieval stone sacristy now serves as a museum of medieval and later objects.
The parish website offers news, a daily devotional word, church events and a calendar of activities. The parish house, parish hall and a funeral chapel built in 1900 are among its facilities, and the parish also runs the Narva village church. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
