The venue hosts concerts, family celebrations, weddings, christenings, memorial events, company dinners, meetings and training. The original Rientola was built by the local youth association in 1913. Over the decades it hosted dances and concerts by many well-known Finnish artists, organised by the sports club Koitto until the 1980s. The old building was demolished in spring 2020 and a new one built on the site. Parts of the film Juice were shot at Rientola in winter 2018.
The fully renovated Rientola serves as a community meeting place for large parties, meetings and events. Lammasniemi is a log cabin villa by Lake Vieremäjärvi in rural surroundings, rented for holiday stays. Harjun Navetta is a stylish event space inside an old stone cowshed. Concerts, village flea markets and dance nights are also held. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
