This independent general publisher was founded in 2009 and is a member of the Finnish Publishers' Association. Its founders are former employees of Kustannus Oy Arkki, who bought the company from Sley in September 2009. It publishes about 60 to 100 books a year: children's and young people's books, gift books, non-fiction and Christian Arkki books. Under the traditional Arkki name it issues devotional books, children's Bibles and hymnals, as well as calendars.
Subjects include children, home, family, relationships, wellbeing, hobbies, crafts, nature, gardening and tradition. Children's books carry a Lukuhetki yhdistää (Reading moment unites) logo, designed by Sari Airola, which promotes reading together. Books are sold through its own shops in Salo, Humppila and Heinola and the local one, and by phone customer service. The publisher is looking for new high-quality fiction and non-fiction manuscripts.
