The 14 m lookout on a hill is modelled on a wartime air-surveillance tower that stood on the site. Views extend in all directions, making it suitable for watching bird migration.
Intended for general recreation and hiking, the site is signposted from Museotie. A turnable fire shelter and outhouse stand at the tower's foot. The entrance and car park are not wheelchair accessible.
