Founded in 1982, the boating club's history includes flotilla trips to Estonian islands, Åland and Saimaa, and sailing to Baltic ports. It has taken part in navigation and sailing competitions and organised boating courses.
Youth activities have included building Optimist dinghies and sailing camps. The club owns an island base with buildings and a private berthing area with a shed and electricity. Safety training has involved cooperation with rescue organisations.
