This family-run bakery was founded in 1952 and is now in the hands of the Vilén family's third generation. It makes both savoury and sweet baked goods, and a café-shop is attached. Products are sold through local retailers in Pirkanmaa and Pohjanmaa.
The bakery moved from Ruovesi in 1968 after the town offered rented premises. The building burned in 1970 and was rebuilt, with the original stone deck oven kept. Ownership passed to siblings Mervi and Jussi Vilén on 1 April 2018. A new oven raised baking capacity by 20% in 2022, and cold storage grew by 30% in 2023. Orders are taken on weekday mornings, with evening and weekend orders by phone. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
