Part of the Opti+ chain, the practice has appointments with both an optometrist and an ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist performs eye examinations, prescribes glasses and checks eye pressure. Children under eight have their vision examination and glasses prescription handled by an ophthalmologist.
Both professionals can be seen at the same location. Examinations may use pupil-dilating drops, after which driving should be avoided until vision returns to normal. The ophthalmologist can arrange referrals for further examinations.
