Founded by Toini Arponen in 1949, the craft shop began by commissioning woven textiles from local farm women. Weaver-artisan Riitta Mäkynen has led it since 1991. The range now includes knitting yarn, needles, crochet hooks, patterns, books, craft fabrics, embroidery threads and kits.
Services include picture framing, warp preparation, porcelain firing and small courses. Group visits can be arranged outside normal hours. The physical and online shops share the same stock. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
