This is a municipal school run by the city. Grades 7–9 are taught in this building, while grades 1–6 are in the Välimäenkuja building.
Subject teachers for the upper grades cover English, Swedish, Spanish, music, crafts, home economics, religion, physical education and computer science. Special education teachers and a student counsellor are also on the staff. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
